The Steam Complete Pet is safe on all sealed hard floors, including hard woods, tile & grout, laminate, vinyl, linoleum, ceramic, porcelain, stone, and more. Also included is a carpet glider, which can be attached to the bottom of the unit to be used on carpet and area rugs.
The Steam Complete Pet uses hot steam to break up messes, while the microfiber pad captures the mess, leaving behind clean floors. For tough stuck on messes, the Steam Complete Pet has SteamStream Technology, and when activated produces a concentrated amount of steam at the base of the steam mop to target messes.
Yes, one of the attachments included is a carpet glider, which can be attached to the bottom of the steam mop under the microfiber pad. Once the carpet glider is in place the steam mop can be used on carpet and area rugs the same way you would use it on sealed hard surfaces.
No, we designed the Steam Complete Pet to be used without solution and recommend only using distilled water within both water tanks.
The Main Water Tank must always have water inside for the machine to produce steam. Add water to the Supplemental Water Tank when cleaning large spaces to go farther without refilling.
The Supplemental Water Tank dial on the side of the unit is to adjust for the cleaning space - switch to Large Space to active the Supplemental Water Tank or Small Space to only use the Main Water Tank. The Steam Control Dial on the handheld portion on the front of the unit is to adjust the amount of steam coming out of the unit. Adjust closer to the MAX setting for stuck on messes, or closer to the MIN setting for everyday cleaning.
Toss the microfiber pads included with your Steam Complete Pet into your washing machine, using mild detergent for easy cleaning.
The Steam Complete Pet includes a removable handheld component that allows you to easily clean not only sealed hard floors, but above the floor as well with the following accessories: Steam Connector and Hose, Large Scrub Brush, Small Scrub Brush, Metal Brush, Grout Brush, Hard Surface Squeegee, Concentration Nozzle, Scraper Tool, Upholstery Cloth, Detail Nozzle, Carpet Glider, (1) Regular Microfiber Pad, and 1 Pet Microfiber Pad.
